The tour guide was amazing
My mom is an engineer, so she was very interested in finding tickets that would allow us to go inside the Tower Bridge to see how it works. During this tour, we not only got to go inside the engine rooms but also were super impressed with our tour guide, Edward. He explained how everything works and shared so many interesting details about the mechanisms and bridge’s history. We left the tour feeling like we learned so much!
Interesting sights & convenient transportation
I always wanted to see the Crown Jewels in person, so visiting the Tower of London was a must. It was really cool to finally see them in front of me. Another cool thing was to see the signs that said some of the jewels were currently in use by the royals! Transportation was really convenient. It was on time and right in front of where we were staying. Highly recommended!

This unusual incident occurred on December 30th, 1952. A bus driver, Albert Gunter, was driving bus number 78 over the Tower Bridge when the bridge began opening just as he was crossing it. The protocol back then instructed that a watchman should signal a warning and close the gates before the Tower Bridge could open, but that did not happen. Thanks to his quick thinking and skill, Albert was able to accelerate the bus and jump over the gap without injuring anybody. Because of his courage and skill, a potential disaster was avoided, so after the incident, he was rightfully recognized and awarded for his bravery.
