Fascinating history, beautiful views!
Simply fascinating! I was always in love with London and this tour did not disappoint. The Tower of London was amazing, especially seeing the Crown Jewels, and the cruise was a great way to see the city. It was very relaxing looking out at the streets of London and other boats and we learned a lot about the city from the audio guide. I fully recommend this combo!
Best way to go sightseeing!
This was my first time in London, and it is a wonderful city. The kids really enjoyed the old weapons and armor in the Tower of London. There was a lot to see, and I hope to revisit at some point as the day just flew by! The cruise was a great way to check out the sights without all of the walking, and while enjoying a cold one as well! One of the best city cruises! Cheers!

Did you know that the Tower of London was broken into only once?
The Tower of London was initially built by William the Conqueror back in the 1070s. William the Conqueror was fresh from his victory and feared rebellion. He wanted to build something big and intimidating that would dominate the London landscape and proclaim his royal power. Thus, the famous stone fortress began construction. The Tower of London was built after 20 years by Masons from Normandy using stone from Caen in France. Throughout its history, the Tower of London was expanded multiple times and pretty much always served its purpose without fail. Only once was it broken into during the Peasants’ Revolt of 1381. At that time, the rebels managed to storm the gates.
